    薄熙來徹底退出了中共權力核心會對中共的對外和對台政策產生怎樣的變化？台灣淡江大學中國政治問題專家林中斌的看法是，薄熙來代表的強硬派讓位於習近平為代表的溫和派將有助於落實胡錦濤提出的“睦鄰、安鄰和富鄰”的政策。

    長期研究美中台關係的林中斌表示，薄熙來雖然并不主導對外政策，但他的垮台將會對中共的對外政策產生相當影響，會促使黨內溫和派更加堅定地執行胡錦濤提出的“睦鄰、安鄰和富鄰”政策。
