The figure shows how from 2000 to 2018, in terms of choosing a leading trading partner, the world was tilting towards Beijing from Washington.
-- Japan, for example, in 2000, had 10% trade with Beijing and 26% trade with Washington. In 2018, Japan had 23% trade with Beijing (up 13%) and 16% trade with Washington(down 10%)
